German American Security Tech Forum
The German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is hosting the German American Security Tech Forum on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in New York, NY. The event is part of a delegation trip by nine leading German security tech companies from June 12-16, 2023 to New York, Philadelphia, and Toronto, Canada. The delegation trip is part of the German market entry program by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). As part of this program, a Security Tech Consortium was built in preparation of the FIFA World Cup taking place in the US, Canada and Mexico in 2026. Over the next three years the delegation will travel to various host cities to learn about market opportunities and demand for security technologies as a result of the world cup planning.
The half-day event on June 13 in New York will focus on the latest technologies in civil security from Germany. The nine German delegation companies will present their technologies, products, and services for the US market in preparation of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in North America and any large event (i.e. sporting events, concerts, etc.). Leading experts from both sides of the Atlantic will be discussing the latest market developments and demands for upcoming large-scale events, technological challenges and opportunities, and relevant benefits and incentives.
The forum is a great opportunity to connect with the German delegation, expert speakers, and our transatlantic network in the security industry.
