From May 4-7, 2026, the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in New York, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, will organize a delegation trip for buyers from the United Nations (UN) to the IFAT trade fair in Munich, Germany.
The 4-day delegation trip is exclusively organized for UN procurement officers from the Environmental and Sustainability Technology sector to provide information about the German market such as waste, water, sewage and sustainability and to learn about new products and developments. Furthermore, the participants will have the opportunity to network with German companies and experts from this important industry (download flyer here).
In Germany, the environmental technology industry is becoming increasingly important. It already contributes 15 percent to the gross domestic product, and its share is constantly growing. The environmental technology industry in Germany is characterized by innovation, sustainability and commitment to tackling ecological challenges.
The IFAT trade fair will take place from May 4-7, 2026 at the Messe Munich exhibition center in Germany.
