The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce (DGIC) in Washington D. C. , is organizing a DC Fly-In focused on workforce development that you may benefit from.

This program is open to all companies within any business sector. The Fly-In will take place on September 20-21 and gives your company the opportunity to meet with DC policymakers to discuss your workforce development challenges and successes. Finding a skilled workforce continues to be a top challenge for German companies in 2023, and the best way to address this challenge is face-to-face with key decisionmakers.
 
The Fly-In program will begin in the afternoon of Wednesday, September 20 with a welcome and briefing from DGIC. It will continue into Thursday with meetings with the US Administration, US Congress, and the German Embassy, and will conclude Thursday evening with DGIC’s annual Oktoberfest. The annual Oktoberfest celebration allows your company to network with 200+ guests within policy and various business sectors from the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.
 
The deadline to register for the fly-in is August 31, but we encourage you to register as soon as possible since only 12 company slots are available.
