Avalon Securities is a boutique investment bank based in New York City. Andreas Deutschmann is a Managing Director at Avalon Securities. He provides advisory and capital raising solutions for early-stage energy transition, AI, and cancer research companies.

Mr. Deutschmann has led teams in audit, due diligence, investment, portfolio, and risk management and financial modeling while a MD at JP Morgan, a VP at John Hancock, and a Manager with Deloitte & Touché. During his career he carried out his responsibilities in New York, Chicago, Boston, Luxembourg, Zurich, Vienna, Singapore, and Tokyo.

Mr. Deutschmann received a BS in Accountancy and a CPA designation from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and MBA degrees in Finance, Economics, and International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is an Adjunct Professor of Venture Capital for Central European University’s Executive MBA Program in Budapest Hungary. Previously Mr. Deutschmann was a corporate member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
