carbonauten GmbH has developed a system for industry that reduces emissions and costs and makes decarbonization attractive. To this end, woody biomass residues are initially converted into three platform products in self-operated, decentralized factories using a proprietary and highly efficient industrial pyrolysis process: biocarbon, pyrolysis oil and syngas. The biochar is then refined in the factory into CO2-negative, ready-to-use granulates for plastics processing, agriculture and forestry. These materials have improved properties and are cheaper than their conventional counterparts.
